Patient Screen – Patient Notes

Estimated reading time: 1 min

RxWorks allows you to add text notes to a patient file by clicking on the NOTES button in the Toolbar. Patient notes are important for the appropriate care of patients and for the safety of patients and staff.

If there are notes in a patient’s record, the button will be highlighted.

The NOTES button will bring you to the same dialog screen for General Patient Notes and Patient Allergy Notes. Each will have it’s own tab.

Adding Patient Notes

  • From a Patient’s Work Area, select the NOTES button from the “toolbar”.
  • Choose to enter General Notes or Allergy Notes by selecting the appropriate tab.
  • Enter General or Allergy Notes as required.
  • Click OK.
  • Editing Patient Notes
