C2 – Physical Inventory Count

This report allows you to view your current levels of inventory and provides a place to record actual stock numbers so inventory adjustments can be made.

Accessing The Physical Inventory Count Report

  1. Go to the RxWorks Task Panel.
  2. Select ‘Reports’ from the “toolbar”.
  3. Select ‘C: Price Lists & Inventory Control’
  4. Click on ‘Physical Inventory Count’ under ‘2. Valuations and On Hand List’.

The window shown above will appear.

About the Report

Notice the report displays each item, the corresponding code, the pack size, the quantity on hand, and gives the user a place to record actual stock numbers during a physical inventory check.

When To Run This Report

Run this report whenever you need forms for a physical inventory check.

The Report Window

At What Date

Sets the report to show the on hand inventory on the selected date.

Restrictions – Your Options

No Restriction

If selected the report will display the on hand levels for all items in inventory.

Restrict To Category

Allows you to restrict the report to only show items in the selected income group.

Restrict To Items Used Since

If checked, the report will only display inventory items that have changed in stock level since the selected date.

Further Options

Include Deactivated ITEMS

If checked, items that are flagged as deactivated in your database will also be displayed.

Stock Location

Click on the check box next to each clinic location that you wish to include in the report.

Viewing Options

Preview Button

This opens the report in a preview window, from which you can review it, then save and/or print it.

Print Button

This sends the report directly to the printer without previewing first.

Excel Button

This opens the report in Microsoft Excel as a spreadsheet.

Export Button

This allows you to export the data from the account run to a number of file formats. You can export to the following file type formats:

  • Adobe Acrobat (PDF)
  • Crystal Reports (RPT)
  • HTML 3.2
  • HTML 4.0
  • Microsoft Excel 97-2000 (XLS)
  • Microsoft Excel 97-2000 – Data only (XLS)
  • Microsoft Word (RTF)
  • Microsoft Word – Editable (RTF)
  • ODBC
  • Record Style – Columns with spaces (REC)
  • Record Style – Columns without spaces (REC)
  • Report Definition (TXT)
  • Rich Text Format (RTF)
  • Separated Values (CSV)
  • Tab Separated Text (TTX)
  • Text (TXT)
  • XML
  • PDF Button

    This opens the report in a PDF viewer. You will need to have PDF viewer software like Adobe Acrobat or Foxit Reader installed to be able to view the file.


    This opens a dialog in which you can change the page style of the report.


    This returns you to the Reports main menu without creating a report.
