Standard Protocols and Procedures Minimize

This important feature has been designed to support your Standards of Care. You can create comprehensive veterinarian and species-specific templates, for example equine, for all of your everyday treatments, services and surgical procedures – neutering, health checks, farm visits, dentals, anaesthesia etc. Procedure templates store each chargeable item you have defined.

When a Procedure is used it is only necessary to record the variables i.e. the no of mls of injectables, no of tablets, theatre time, in-patient overnights, miles travelled etc. Procedures are totally flexible - you can add or delete items as required.

 

Procedures are an effective means of increasing productivity in the consulting room saving more than a minute of typing time whenever they are used. Above all, Procedures are invaluable in ensuring that charges are not missed.  When you get your car serviced you get a full breakdown of the componenets of the service.  With the procedure you can also get the breakdown, which can be printed out on the client's invoice, in full with prices, or in full without prices, or with a summary of the procedure name and text.

Can you email clients? Minimize

Many clients find email much more timely then traditional post and certainly less frustrating then a good old game of phone tag. Many people check their email several times a day and if asked would tell you they would prefer to hear from you via email.

Can you send your clients an email?

Not if you do not know their email address. That is why RxWorks allows you to store an unlimited number of email addresses for each client and can prompt your receptionist to ask for an email address if you do not have one on file.

We also allow you to record that the client granted you permission to communicate with them via email, so that you can abide by anti-spam laws.

With RxWorks you can even send the client an SMS text message direct to their cell phone. Text them when their pet is ready to be picked up or on the pet's condition as it recovers from surgery. SMS text messages are a great way to communicate quickly with your clients while they are on the move.

Recall List Minimize

A new and important part of HeathCare Manager is the Recall List. Recalls are a cornerstone of compliance and essential to maintaining your Standards of Care. 

The Client Recall List module has been developed to automate and streamline the process of calling clients after a visit or surgery. 

Recalls can be generated automatically based on invoice items in a similar manner to conventional reminders such as vaccination reminders. 

Recalls can also be set manually, and you can have an unlimited number of recall types.
