Clipboards

Managing a busy veterinary practice can be a challenge. To help meet this, RxWorks has developed Clipboards. This feature allows you to centrally store different types of information, the principal use being Appointments. You can also set them up for activities like operations, visits, loan equipment, and messageboards. All diaries and schedules can be customized to a format that is most appropriate for your requirements.

In this example link, Equine Clipboards,we have set up clipboards for an equine clinic. Your requirements may be different but it gives you some idea of the flexibility.

RxWorks provides a comprehensive system for running animal shelters, with full client, patient and medical records:

Comprehensive medical records are an important element to ensure maximum efficiency.
Ownership history can be easily stored and accessed.
Accounting for adoption fees is flexible and easy to set up.
Mobile Veterinarian allows the veterinarian to enter details as they travel around the site or between sites.
Multiple sites can be easily linked to the central database.

An important aspect for shelters is the ability to have unlimited custom fields on the patient record. They often have information they need to record that is quite different to normal practices, such as Arrival Date, Outcome, Adoption Date and so on. They often need to report on this to stakeholders such as members of their sponsoring charity, its board of management, Local Government and so on.

Procedures - one of the most important features in RxWorks.

This feature has been designed to support your Standards of Care. You can create comprehensive veterinarian and species-specific templates for all of your everyday treatments, services and surgical procedures – neuterings, health checks, farm visits, dentals, anaesthesia etc. Procedure templates store each chargeable item you have defined.

Sydney Olympics

Back in 2000, RxWorks was chosen to manage the clinical records at the veterinary centre of the Sydney Olympics and Para Olympics equestrian events. RxWorks provided the network and software as well as a number of trainers to assist Olympic veterinarians in entering case histories into RxWorks. All ultrasound, radiograph, endoscope and thermograph images taken during the Olympics were captured directly onto the patient files, a first for the Olympics.

RxWorks was proud to assist in such a prestigious event.
