New Patient Records

From a Patient's Work Area, you can add new patient records to the active client by selecting the Add button (Ctrl+A) from the Toolbar.

 


This will bring up the New Patient Information box for you to complete.

 

Adding New Patient Records

  1. For the active client, click on ADD PATIENT from a patient's Work Area.
  2. Fill in the details for the new patient.
  3. Click ADD PATIENT.
  4. Select the reminders (if any) for the new patient record.
  5. Click OK.
  6. The New Patient Options Window will appear. Select if you would like to send the patient to the clipboards, add a new visit for the patient, add another new patient to the active client record or add a new client.

          Depending on the option you choose, proceed as directed. Each of the options listed are outlined below.

 

The New Patient Options Window

After adding a new client record, you will be presented with the New Client Options Window. The options provided are outlined below.

 

       SEND THIS PATIENT TO A CLIPBOARD

Select the clipboard you would like to send the new patient record to from the 'Send to Clipboards' window.

 

       ADD A NEW VISIT FOR THIS CLIENT

Add a visit to the new patient record.

 

       ADD A NEW PATIENT FOR THIS CLIENT

Add another new patient to the active client record.

 

       ADD ANOTHER CLIENT
