RxWorks allows you to quickly and easily calculate the cost of travel between your base of operations and the place you will make an external visit.

Simply enter the distance between your base of operations and the location you will visit in the Number tab on the Clients Work Area

 

CHARGING FOR TRAVEL

The best way to charge for travel is to:

       1. Add an item (fee) to any service heading

         

 

       2. Set one of the Update fields in the 'Attachments' tab to 'Travel Multiple.'

         

 

The travel fee will draw the distance from this field and multiply it by the cost per unit of distance.

The travel fee works just like a medication fee, except the “dosage” is the distance traveled and the “injection fee” or “fixed fee component” is the minimum travel cost
