Managing Unattached Patient Images
RxWorks can help import patient images into your records using ‘smart’ functions. The smart functions can read image information, helping you match images to a patient record.
This tool can help you attach an image to a patient record if:
- You use the Patient Images Workflow - You may find that some images have not attached to a patient record due to a missing appointment or misspelled name.
- You have a digital camera or a folder of patient images stored on your PC that you would like to attach to patient records.
You can still attach patient images using the traditional naming convention and document integration, as well as manually attaching images directly from the patient screen.
This method of attachment is intended to help simplify the import of patient images by using cross-referencing image information with appointment data.
