Stock Locations - A Quick Background
VERSION 3
In Version 3 of RxWorks, stock levels were managed strictly on a per-branch basis. Multiple branches could not share stock locations. This made managing stock levels difficult for practices that had a vehicle set up as a branch.
VERSION 4
Stock Locations were introduced with RxWorks Version 4. A single branch can have multiple stock locations, and multiple branches can share any number of stock locations. With this functionality, you can customize your stock management to meet the specific needs of your practice.
If a vehicle was set up as a separate branch in Version 3, it will have been given its own stock location by default when upgraded to Version 4. The new stock location can be reassociated with other branches as necessary.
