RxWorks answers that problem by using Microsoft Word to automatically produce the reports. Our referral reports are built by using templates that insert data from the visit record.
The Forms, Certificates & Letters module already includes templates for referral reports. They can be used as-is or as a base for your own design. The resulting report can then be edited using standard Word features to meet your exact needs.
Reporting on your revenue sources
Due to the importance of referrals, RxWorks has many reports which tell you who sends you business. They also show which of your services that are being recommended and their value to your practice.
They are available for any time period you want. Excel spreadsheets are created that can also be used for “what-if” analyses.
Pre-defined procedures to improve efficiency and patient care
To save time and increase accuracy when entering visit details, you need to pre-define sets of treatments. In RxWorks they are called Procedures. This not only improves efficiency but also dramatically reduces the problem of “missed” charges.
Procedures also include the “boiler-plate” that makes up the majority of the medical notes. You only need to enter those items that are specific to the patient. This reduces the time needed to build the medical record. Equally important, it helps you maintain consistent records.
To give your staff the time to care for patients, you need a pre-defined set of treatments that are clear and easily understood. Performance Pack was developed to address that need. It includes thousands of Procedures that are already built. It also includes a powerful profit-based fee management tool that makes sure fees are fair to your client as well as meet your profit goals.
Good patient care and your reputation depend on how well you communicate with your clients. Some recalls, reminders and documents are based on medications and other products. It is essential that they are setup accurately. Unfortunately, it’s a task with a low priority for staff and does not get done. We have built and maintain a Veterinary Supply Database to remove that risk.
The Recall Manager module takes the risk out of missing important client follow up calls. RxWorks provides a list of calls to be made for the day for each of the staff. It also provides management with the tools to ensure that none are missed.
Managing chronic care patients
HealthCare Manager is a very useful tool for those practices that treat patients with chronic problems. It helps make sure that your standards of care are followed.
Treatment plans for the patient’s condition are set up in HCM. Patients are then monitored to help staff educate the client of the value of your plan. It has been proven that when you include all of your staff in the process, you improve chances of getting the client to understand the value.
HCM’s goal is to help manage the whole process. It also measures how successful you are in getting acceptance and even more important, why you are not.
