Modules Creating custom reports with the Data Access Module
Software applications like RxWorks have complex database structures that take time to learn.
We have created the Data Access Module to take out this complexity and make it easier for veterinary practices to create their own reports.
The Data Access Module provides simpler, real time views of your practice data.
The database views available for building reports can be downloaded in a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, and include:
- Branch Clinics
- Clients
- Patients
- Visits
- Consultation Items
- Consultation Procedures
- Items
The views created in the Data Access Module are read only. You can safely use the report builder without the fear of altering data from your database. The module automatically refreshes to reflect your current data. When you run your custom reports, they are based on up to date information.
We do not intend that this module is used by anyone who is unfamiliar with SQL reporting. We do not create the custom reports for you or provide support on how to use Microsoft Reporting Services.
Some clients like the peace of mind of knowing they can access and store their practice data in a standalone format such as Microsoft Excel. We understand this feeling. We believe we are the only practice management system to make it this easy to access your practice data.
